GITO ROLLIES & DEDDY STANZAH - HIGHER AND HIGHER

This, to me, is one of THE best rock and funk albums ever released in Indonesia and it's weird, but nobody ever talks about it and it's just beyond me how this has never been re-released. Maybe because it's so hard to find and it only, as far as I know, came out on cassette. It's James Brown meets the Rolling Stones, blues, disco, prog-rock, funk, all on one album by Gito Rollies and Deddy Stanzah. This is a bootleg tape, probably a copy of a copy but the sound quality is still pretty much ok.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!

NEW ROLLIES - VOL. 1 PERTANDA

Here's the first album from the New Rollies, this is a promotional vinyl copy for radio stations. Basically the old Rollies after they took a break, they had heavy problems with heroin addiction, they got rid of Deddy Stanzah who was a great, great musician but who had become unmanagable by that time and their new sound was quite different, more clean, more polished. Personally, I like their older work better, more raw, more.... dirty so to say but this is good stuff too, after all, these guys were all great musicians.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!
