SHORTY ROGERS AND HIS ORCHESTRA FEATURING THE GIANTS - COOL AND CRAZY
Trumpet player Shorty Rogers was a member of Stan Kenton's orchestra but left that orchestra because he wanted to make much more swinging music, stuff like what Count Basie was doing and boy did he succeed at that! Here's his incredibly swinging Cool And Crazy album that came out in 1954....
