A visceral, but hypnotic experience, with a complexity that only becomes more joy-inducing the more you listen to it. Above all else, this album is a masterpiece in intertwining melancholy, beauty and eldritch terror with a maturity and cinematic quality that surpasses the band’s previous album (which I would still highly recommend). Also, shoutout to this band for introducing me into the works of Xenakis and Ligeti.
