Riots in the streets
Fire in our eyes
Absolutism falls
Democracy will rise
Their money we will burn
Their holdings we will raze
Put everything to torch
And feed it to the flame
Their heads shall be chopped off
And be put up on spikes
For everyone to see
Their empty lying eyes
Now as the King’s deposed
Liberty will reign
When equal people rule
In fraternity
Fight the oppression
And fight for your right to be free – not a slave
Hierarchies are obsolete – we’re all the same
I will die just like you!
The concert at Resurrection Fest 2025 was spectacular, one of the best, brutal music and a tough World War I theme. Greetings from Avilés in Asturias, Spain. There are videos of the concert on my Facebook page "Manuel Hernando." Hernando
New wave of Swedish Thrashers paying hommage to Sarcófago and Kreator (thus the name Sarcator) with some incredibly well-written songs! The Blackened thrash side is what appealed to me, the second half of the album is too slow for my taste but the guitar work is outstanding!! "Sorrow's Verse" made me think of Wayfarer or Hell Fire, with its rhythm and guitar solos, a surprising "outlier" in this album. The last one, the title track, is an amazing blend of styles and ends the album with a bang. sashavonkarl74
Pyrrhic victory in the biting wind and the dark snowy field – Doedsrit, as many others mention, field an excellent mix of icy bleakness with majestic triumph. Every song stands out as an excellent ballad of holding on to something despite the odds. I like how the melodies and rhythms blend more stately metal and more driving punk elements to communicate different despairing vs. rebellious moments. Defiant, sorrowful, melodious, heavy – this album brings something we all need right now. pinkytheent
