Wedding card for my godchild and his wife

Hello dear friends and crafters!

This marks my first month since concluding my time as a DT member of Ally's Angels. I began my journey as a DT in October 2018, making it a significant period, and it was an experience I truly cherished. The group was composed of remarkable individuals, and it was a privilege to be part of such a community. Regrettably, I anticipate missing them greatly, and I must express my apologies as my life has become exceedingly busy.

I would like to showcase a wedding card I designed for my godchild and his spouse. Their special day was celebrated yesterday, and they make a truly wonderful couple. I extend my heartfelt wishes for their future happiness,  and a long, prosperous life.

 Welcome to my blog

 

Hi everyone! 

It's Monday again, and I hope you had a wonderful weekend, filled with lots of joy.

October is a beautiful month. Nature is spectacular colored, and there is still enough daylight for proper mountain walks. The first frosty nights make the moors bear, the air is fresh and clear. The sun is low, and the shadows long.

- It's also a month with many weddings.

 

By the way... It's time for a new card share as a new challenge starts today 

at Ally's Angels

The theme is as always :  Anything goes 

 

For this challenge I'll show you a wedding card...

 

If you read this blog, you know I'm a huge fan of KennyK stamps.

-So no surprise... This is a funny old stamp from KennyK.

Inside I've decorated with different texts from Kort og Godt. I've also used a beautiful lace I bought years ago.

Ally's Angels DT Challenge #30 "Marriage on New Years Eve"

  Nytt år og nye muligheter...

 

I år som i fjor, kjører vi utfordringer i Ally´s Angels.

I dag starter årets første utfordring: Challenge #30

Utfordringen varer til 08.Febr.  Tema: Alt er lov

Her ser du mitt bidrag til denne utfordringen. 

Fikk en bestilling på et bryllupskort til et par som giftet seg på selveste nyttårsaften. Resultatet ble dette:

Det morsomme brudeparet er et stempel fra KennyK. 
(Trenger vel ikke si at jeg elsker KennyK stemplene) Kenny Kiernan har dessverre sluttet å lage stempel, men jeg var så heldig at jeg klarte å erverve meg godt over 100 forskjellige stempel fra denne fantastiske kunstneren før han sluttet produksjonen.
Stemplet har jeg fargelagt med copic tusjer. 
Love er en dies fra Tattered Lace, Bryllup fra Nellie Snellen, og det store hjertet kommer fra ebay.

På innsiden av kortet har jeg brukt mønsterpapir fra Kort og Godt.
Bildet er en toppers fra Dixi Craft. Bak bildet har jeg laget en lomme til tags og en evt. pengegave.  På motsatt side har jeg nøyd meg med bare ett stempel, slik at det ble rikelig plass til å skrive en personlig hilsen til brudeparet.

 
Tagsene har jeg laget ved hjelp av dies fra Cheery Lynn. Disse har jeg festet en gulltråd i, og stemplene er fra Kort og Godt . Jeg har også "svertet" kantene med gullpenn.
