With ill intentions I pinched the wire
The concrete lip of the pool
Heard your voice in the woods so I
Made my way back to you
Orange foxes and swooping crows
Your eyes could swallow the world
Chest a chasm, a weeping wound
She sank in me as she turned
Let me be the one you come running to
With devotion, a frame unlocked
My picture rattles in you
And when you pierce through the mirror's gaze
Know that my love was true
Turn to bouquets, hideous mass
And please don't ever forget
Boundless travel, I'll slog the swamps
To stand beside you again
I discovered this band a year later they disbanded (Shame on me!), the guitar and singer caught my ears for the complexity and melodic tunes. this is my top indie rock band. My Fave reverendo69
my actual favourite track is Because the Night but it's not listed on here for some reason. it IS on the CD tho. but there's not a bad cut on the disc. Carla Anderson
