Award-winning duo Marit Fält and Rona Wilkie meld tunes and songs to create new music that’s uplifting, daring and harmonious. They are known for blending their Scottish Gaelic and Scandinavian routes and have been inspired by the Scandinavian Christmas tradition to explore and expand on the Gaelic winter tradition. Their new release Nollaig ¬– a word which describes the whole of the festive period in Scottish Gaelic – comprises of newly penned Christmas songs, alongside well-loved hymns and puirt-a-beul from the Gaelic world.
