Although I am not loving this winter, I felt this needed to be documented. This is the most snow I remember seeing, work shut down for two days, I couldn't leave my house for three days. It was a mess.
I used MSB stamp set Let It Snow which is pretty perfect for this page. I used three different inks - turquoise, yellow, and grey.
The patterned papers are left over from my Webster's Pages Composition and Color post with LCOM. I also have some Elle's Studio labels and journal tags left over. I used some Sass letter stickers from my stash. The cork house and the flair badge are from the December Cocoa Daisy day in the life kit. I also used a few other stamp sets from my stash - Studio Calico, Technique Tuesday.
This snow was fun for about two hours. We shoveled the driveway countless times. We had to keep knocking snow off the satellite. But we had food and water and we never lost power. However, I think I can speak for everyone when I say we are ready for spring!!

3.
With all the projects I've been working on lately, I wanted to just do a layout just for FUN. This is a family photo of three generations from my cousin's wedding back in October. I was excted to use some of my new SC February kits Sugar Rush and Jelly Beans.
The background paper is actually not from my kits - it's from Webster's Pages Composition and Color collection. In the SC kits, we received a color swatch book and I used some of the swatch cards on my layout, behind the photos. The silver banners, the kraft die cuts, and the large 3 are all from the kits, as is the 'good times' stamp.

FLL [LCOM sketch 60].
Another medial girls sketch day for LCOM! This is sketch #60 and we're featuring Bo Bunny this time! This collection could not have been more perfect for my vacation photos. The Zip A Dee Doodle collection is basically a really great blue + white and/or black as a neutral. It's great. Here is our sketch:
Here's my layout.
I used the 'B' side of one of the papers for a more neutral-ish background. Then I used a few of the patterned papers as accents, photo mats, and borders. There's a sheet of cardstock stickers in the collection pack.
I added some supplies from my stash like the Studio Calico vellum star stickers and the puffy geotag sticker from Skipping5. The washi tape is from a 2013 Studio Calico kit.
So that's all for me today. Be sure to stop by the LCOM blog to see the other media team projects!

altered journal tags [LCOM product shuffle].
Today I'm doing a post on altered journal tags over on the LCOM blog! & I'm using Elle's Studio. Go check it out.
I don't do project life or pocket style scrapbooking, but I sometimes like the 3x4 cards (or even the 4x6 cards) so I incorporate them onto my regular scrapbook pages. I got the Elle's Studio You & Me Note Tags and the You & Me Large Journal Tags,
With Valentine's day this month, I considered making a little mini album. Then I thought I wanted to use them on a regular scrapbook page. Both ideas seemed so excellent that I ended up not doing either one and I'm just waiting to see how I'll be inspired to use them first.
So here are the cards that I've altered...
The LCOM shop has plenty of Elle's Studio tags and journal spots and cards and labels - just browse the pages today!

I used a few Technique Tuesday stamp sets, some kraft die cuts from SC Sugar Rush kit and some SC wood veneers from my stash. I inked the butterfly veneer coated it and the hearts with Glossy Accents. The candy dots are Pebbles, also from my stash.
So.
Project idea 1 was to make a little mini album of sorts with journaling on the backs and maybe a couple photos.
Project idea 2 was to use them on my regular scrapbook pages. Debating stapling some ribbon or trimmings on the tops.
Project idea 3, if you are a pocket style scrapbooker, would look like this:
Aren't these altered journal tags the cutest?!

(*love*)|My Stamp Box.
Today I have a card to share, just in time for Valentine's day!
I have had this Doodlebug patterned paper forever. I'm hoarding it. It's the Sweet Cakes collection and it is SO adorable that I just can't stand to use it.
The card base is American Crafts cardstock. I used My Stamp Box Sigh Gush Gasp stamp set. and I heat embossed the love sentiment using MSB silver embossing powder. I added a few tiny wood veneer hearts from Studio Calico and that's it!

inspiration Monday [LCOM featuring Webster's Pages].
We went on vacation to the Bahamas a few weeks ago and that beautiful blue water, the feel of the sand on my feet, and the hot sun soaking into my skin is all that's getting me through the rest of this winter. The snow just won't stop! If you haven't vacationed down to the Bahamas you are missing out! Our cruise stopped at Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Nassua. I had been to HMC and Nassau before but GT was new and it was so beautiful! Two years ago we stayed at an all inclusive in Freeport and I would definitely recommend it over Nassau.
Anyway, I put together a collage of some of our photos and I used it as a mood board to inspire my layout today.
I'm using Webster's Pages Composition and Color collection. This collection includes two cut apart 12x12 papers. I don't do project life but I am still able to include these on my regular scrapbook layouts. There is also a package of coordinating ribbon (five designs/1 yard each) and I used three of the designs on my page.
Here's my page:
Other supplies...
enamel dots: My Mind's Eye; Prima Anna Marie Sugardots
puffy stickers: Skipping5
stamps: Studio Calico; Melissa Frances (these are several years old)
ink: StazOn (onyx); Versa Color (turquoise)
washi: Freckled Fawn
date stamp: Amy Tangerine
chipboard: Creative Embellishments
labels/tags: Elle's Studio; Chic Tags

love is all you need. [LCOM sketch 58]
We're revealing LCOM sketch #58 today and we used the Pink Paislee Secret Crush collection. Pink Paislee is one of my top five favorite manufacturers. I loved this collection.
and here's my page:
I condensed this sketch into an 8.5x11 size page with one horizontal photo. The rest of the layout I kept pretty close to the sketch. I was glad to have some of the ephemera pack left in my stash from this collection, but I also used my ticket punch and punched out coordinating tickets from some patterned papers. Can you tell which ticket is from the ephemera pack and which two are mine??
I added three Studio Calico stamps and used onyx Staz On ink + raspberry pie Prima chalk ink. Lastly, I added Elle's Studio circle labels (You and Me Tidbits), Prima Say it in Crystals, and wood veneer birds (Freckled Fawn).
This is my cousin and her husband, taken in 2013.
Be sure to visit the LCOM blog to see the other media team layouts.
