this is us.

This is the last page for my brother's album! I actually gave it to him and his fiancee for Christmas, but there were still five blank pages. So it's DONE!

The Sparklers this month are doing IGTV videos about the wood veneers in the Spiegelmom Scraps shop. I used the rustic hearts wood veneer on this page. You can head over to SMS on IGTV to check out my process.

finding joy in the simple things.

There's a weekly scraplift challenge in the Spiegelmom Scraps Facebook group. This week we're scraplifting Virginia's page. You only have until February 27 to enter!

Here's her page:
I used one of the new FREE cut files from Paper Issues + the Colorful Motley sequins from the February release at Spiegelmom Scraps.

Instead of strips of paint, I used the 6x6 Shine paper pad from Elle's Studio and tons of goodies from my Elle's Studio monthly kits.

supplies
sequins: Colorful Motley
cut file: Paper Issues
embellishments: Elle's Studio
stamps: Kellie Winnell (Looks like Summer; Beer)
ink: Tim Holtz distress oxide (Broken China; Twisted Citron)

You're probably preparing for your next holiday pages, and I'm over here doing Christmas pages. I couldn't help but use these Lush Greenery sequins on a Christmas page!

These sequins coordinated really well with the Holiday Vibes collection from PinkFresh!

Thanks for looking!

dogs are paw-some

Hey SMS friends! We're hooking up with Scrappin Happy Studio for an inspiration hop on Instagram. I hope you'll head over and check all the projects out!

Scrappin Happy Studio released these amazing dog epoxies this month and I was so excited to order them!

I used the Colorful Motley sequins on this birthday cake shaker. It was a free cut file at Paper Issues. Everything else on my page is from the January Clique kit, Heart Eyes, which features the Whimsical collection by Paige Evans.

You can use code ASHLEY15 for 15% off at the Spiegelmom Scraps shop - these sequins are still available!

Thanks so much for joining us!

happy.

I'm playing along with sketch 171 at Sketch N Scrap this month. I dug out some of the older Cocoa Vanilla Studio More Than Words collection for this page.

This is my husband's niece and her dad last month when we got a bunch of snow.

Hey SOS friends!

I chose the right side of the layout and used two self timer photos from Thanksgiving. I dug out what I have left of the Welcome Home collection from Carta Bella.

February Scrap Our Stash Saturday Cartoons challenge!

It may be February, but who wants to see a Christmas page?!

I'm a big fan of heart paper and hearts in general so this challenge was no challenge for me :) This Bella Blvd paper has been in my stash for a while and I was able to use up some smaller scraps of papers by fussy cutting and backing this cut file.

Some of the parts I didn't back with patterned paper - I made them into shaker pockets instead.

Thanks for looking!

supplies
sequins: Spiegelmom Scraps (Hex a Glam; I Love You More; Funky New Year)
wood veneer: Spiegelmom Scraps (Rustic Hearts)
patterned papers: Bella Blvd; Elle's Studio; Pink Paislee (Merry & Bright)

journey.

My page is inspired by the red, white, and pink challenge at The Paper Girls. Right up my alley!f

Everything here is Elle's Studio. Thanks for looking!

moments.

Lots of Elle's Studio on this page. I've been going through my stash and also re-doing some older pages. When I say older, I mean I made these pages originally like 16 years ago. Which sounds crazy. Because I'm not even that old.

I don't recommend re-doing pages. It's counterproductive. But sometimes I just feel like it. So this page was inspired by the February sketch at Let's Get Sketchy. It was kind of difficult to turn this into an 8.5x11 size page and the photos are bad quality because they're from 2003.

Thanks for looking!

love.

One more page for my brother and (future) sister in law's album. Yes, I gave it to them for Christmas, but there were still five blank pages.

This is for the White... with 1 challenge this month to use RED. Plus the Take 5 Challenge at Paper Issues this month. I used red, twine, puffy stickers, hearts, the word love.

supplies
stickers: Jillibean Soup (Garden Harvest); Scrappin Happy Studio; Elle's Studio
journal cards: Elle's Studio
cardstock: Bazzill

Growing in Unity winners!

Thank you all for your support last week for my Growing in Unity week :) It was so much fun and I hope you enjoyed my projects!

Without further ado, my two winners are Sue D and Becca Yahrling.

Ladies, please comment here with your email address so I can contact you. You have two weeks so I need to hear from you by Monday, February 18.

Thanks everyone!

love.

I'm trying to stop hoarding my Midnight collection because Cocoa Vanilla Studio just showed what their new collection is and *all of the heart eyes* so I have to use up some of my stash before I get my hands on this new stuff!

This gorgeous tree cut file is one of the new ones at Spiegelmom Scraps this month ONLY to newsletter subscribers! So if you're not already, head over to SMS and sign up for the newsletter.

I, of course, had to make it into a shaker. I used the Love You More January sequin release, which coordinates with this collection.

Thanks for looking!

Unity favorites [Growing in Unity week].

I thought for my final day of Growing in Unity, I'd share some of my favorite Unity projects that were NOT done for GiU week.

This star background remains one of my all time favorite stamps. You can see the original page HERE.

Love love love this heart background stamp. You can see the original post HERE.

As far as sentiments go, this one of hands down my favorite. The tan lines will fade, but the memories will last forever. You can see more details of this page HERE.

For you scrapbookers, this one has my favorite journal spot. See the original post HERE.

This is one of the first paged I ever did with Unity stamps. A small sentiment stamp could easily get lost on a busy scrapbook page, but I think that your eye goes right to it here since it's outlined in the rhinestones. The circle shape also stands out on the page. You can see this one HERE.

This is my third time doing GiU and it's always so fun! Normally I do a mix of cards + scrapbook pages. I hope ya'll still enjoyed my projects this week, even though I'm not really into card making anymore.

Thanks so much for joining me this week! :)
