I played along with the More Than Words challenge this month. The word is happiness & there was a sketch as well.
I did an 8.5x11 page for my ballet album. This is the senior girls with our instructor right before our recital our senior year. A very happy time as our hard work all season was paying off in our recital.
I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight collection + a free cut file from Paper Issues. Here's the More than Words challenge if you're interested:

thankful.
This page was based on this month's sketch at Paper Issues. I am trying to use my stash of the Happiness collection from CVS because the new (very similar looking!) collection will be coming soon! :)
This page is about my ballet instructor. I was in ballet for about 14 years, all through high school, and my instructor retired my senior year. So this was a very bittersweet year at our dance studio.

this day.
I used inspiration from sketch 183 at Sketch N Scrap today.
Instead of the strip of paper on the right, I used 3x4 cut apart frames stacked vertically. Then instead of using a bigger and a smaller photo, I used one photo and one cut apart card. I love using sketches as a starting off point and seeing where the inspiration takes me!
I loved using the Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio for this SnapChat selfie on my birthday. Thanks for looking!

this makes me happy.
Why do I love this so, so much?! and why have I never done this before?!
This was the ad-spiration challenge at Paper Issues this month. I used distress inks in Faded Jeans, Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry, Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, and Mustard Seed. The rest is from my warehouse box from PinkFresh Studios. Thanks for looking!
today.
This page was inspired by sketch 383 at Sketches in Thyme.
Some family photos from my almost sister in law's bridal shower earlier this month :) I used a bit of Echo Park Wedding Bliss collection that's a few years old. I also added some Maggie Holmes (Shine) chipboard stickers. Thanks for looking!

Mr & Mrs.
Hey guys! Today I'm sharing something special. Spiegelmom Scraps and Confessions of a Paper Addict combined this month with a new sequin mix and some gorgeous cut files!
COAPA released 16 new cut files, all love and marriage themed, but you don't have to use them on wedding pages. I did (of course) because I still have wedding photos to scrap. But check out my process video HERE and the pages everyone else is sharing this week!
Thanks for looking!

Tobias.
Playing along with the Pick 5 challenge at Paper Issues this month. I used aqua, numbers, paint, enamel dots, and stickers.
This is my husband's cousin's son, born in April.
I used the That Summer Feelin' sequin mix from Spiegelmom Scraps for my shaker and tons of PinkFresh stuff from my warehouse box. Thanks for looking!

together.
I really wanted to use this sketch from Sketches in Thyme because I love Laura's sketches. I decided to do an 8.5x11 size page with this photo and use one larger photo instead of two smaller ones.
and then it all went downhill from there. I hope you can still see the resemblance of the sketch. Also, I couldn't photograph is straight for some reason so pretend like everything is square and straight :)

Pool Side.
Hey friends! Sharing a layout for Spiegelmom Scraps today and I have a process video for it as well. Check it out on You Tube HERE.
I used one of the August sequins releases, Big Big Bling to make a border along the side of my page.
Then I used my Fuse tool to make a shaker out of the title using Gum Drops sequin mix. Thanks for looking!
supplies

my heart.
My boy is my heart.
I used the Heart collection from Simple Stories for this one and was inspired by The Secret Life of Pets challenge at Paper Issues this month. I added some Shimmerz in Precious Metal, which is gorgeous!

beautiful.
This page is inspired by this month's Scrap the Girls challenge - be inspired by Instagram. I found this cut file from Paper Issues and it's very similar to the Instagram camera so I started with that.
This is my grandmother with her granddaughters (me and my cousins) earlier this month.
I used the Pink Paislee Indigo and Ivy collection. Really love this soft pink patterned paper background. Thanks for looking!

the sweet life.
My future sister in law had a bridal shower last weekend! This is one of the only photos of the two of us; I changed it to sepia because there is just a lot going on in this photo.
I was inspired by the Pinspire Me challenge at Paper Issues this month. I don't typically use green and this is actually a Christmas patterned paper, but I felt like I could make it all come together on this page.
Thanks for looking!
supplies
patterned paper: PinkFresh (Holiday Vibes)
mist: Shimmerz Coloringz (Keep Palm); Heidi Swapp Color Shine (Black Velvet)
stickers: PinkFresh; Crate Paper (Sunny Days)

lovely vacation.
Hey friends! I'm scrapbooking (actually, re-scrapbooking) a photo from 2007. Vintage me! :) Sometimes when I'm not really inspired by any current photos, I'll go back and re-do old pages.
I used the lovely Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. One of the new Spiegelmom Scraps August releases, Hazy Summer, coordinates with my photos and this collection.
I made a shaker title because I haven't done one in a while :)
