 Today I have a layout to share for Denise Boddey Designs!

This is my new nephew, Maxwell Archer, and I've used two DB chipboard designs on this page. The first, the bottle, I mixed some white acrylic paint and Shimmerz paints.The color was a little lighter than I wanted so after the paint dried, I ended up spritzing some of the Shimmerz on the bottle.

I used some of the remaining bits of my More Than Words collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. My title is Special Moments. For this chipboard piece, I first sprayed it with Goosebumps clear texture spray. Once that dried, I used the same Shimmerz Vibez (Snow Way Man) spray + Shimmerz Vibez (Snow Storm).

It has some cool texture and makes the iridescent colors look really neat. Thanks for stopping by!

 This is for another challenge at Paper Issues this month! This one is the Monochromatic Fanatic challenge. 

The color is black and on the moodboard, one of the photos says "ew, people." I thought that was a good reason to make a cat layout:) This is Blackie, who isn't really our cat, but is technically our cat. I used up some of these adorable Elle's Studio tags I've had forever, a few bits from Bella Blvd Chloe collection and  the Bazzill cardstock is called dark gray prismatic. Thanks for looking!

Scraplift Sunday! You can see the page to scraplift HERE. I really went through my Elle's Studio stash and dug out a bunch of labels to use on this page. I couldn't think of a title so this page sat on my desk for a couple days and then I realized... I don't have to have a title. I'm just going to call this one what it is - harvest.

Use Your Stuff guest design team! Autumn.

 Hello again! Use Your Stuff has another fun challenge this month - autumn! It can be interpreted so many ways. I chose to scrap a photo of Bentley, right after he was groomed and looking so handsome.

I used some pieces from my stash (Bella Blvd's Cooper collection, Elle's Studio 6x6 patterned paper, Scrappin Happy Studio flair) + a new patterned paper from Amy Tangerine's Late Afternoon and new chipboard flair from Days of Splendor (PinkFresh Studio). Thanks for looking!

This page was inspired by the 'world series' challenge at Paper Issues this month and I'm scrapping a series of photos. These are two of the Monarchs that eclosed late this summer.

I used gesso and distress inks on the background and embellished with some Jen Hadfield flower ephemera from The Avenue collection. The sequins are Sunflower Field from Spiegelmom Scraps. Thanks for looking!

Use Your Stuff guest design team! you + me

Hello friends! I'm guest designing this month at Use Your Stuff! The first challenge this month at Use Your Stuff is a nautical theme! and you guys know how I love my beach vacations. This challenge was right up my alley! These photos are from our trip to Mexico in 2018.

I pulled the sea creatures chipboard pieces from Denisen Boddey and painted them with a thin layer of gesso. Then I painted them with Shimmerz. I used some distress inks to create my background. The 'frame' around the page is the remainder of a cut file I used on another page 

Next I dug through my Elle's Studio stash and pulled out some puffy hearts, some labels, and some 3x4 cards. Then I added some pieces from Maggie Holmes' Sunny Days collection. For a final touch, there are some epoxy flair.

 This page was inspired by the first October challenge at Scrap Our Stash. They have a mood board challenge and I know it's an October challenge, but the photos in the moodboard inspired me to scrap a Thanksgiving photo from last year. I pulled out the Indigo & Ivy collection from Pink Paislee. 

I know this collection is two years old, but I really liked it and I have just a little bit left that I've been hoarding. I want to use it up this weekend! #Goals
