first flight.

Playing along with another Paper Issues challenge this month - a scraplift!

I used one of the new mixed media sheets from Vicki Boutin (Color Story) and just some random stash papers to cut the strips. This will go in my nephew's album - nine months old and his first airplane ride!

Thanks for looking!

salt in the air. sand in my hair.

I've been on a roll here lately and I have another Paper Issues challenge done. This one was to scrap a friendship or a 'matey.' All the June challenges are pirate themed.

So I chose a pic from Florida last month. I used Vicki Boutin's Color Study for my background and then the rest of my page is random bits and pieces from my stash. I added some epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio, some Doodlebug hearts,Simple Stories puffy sticker, and I even used a couple of stamps! Thanks for looking:)

2 years.

Here's another layout I made, inspired by one of the June challenges at Paper Issues. This challenge was to use bright colors. This Home Sweet Home collection from Doodlebug is pretty bright and cheery:)

This year we celebrated two years in our new home. I wanted to make a page to celebrate all of our accomplishments. Even though my list of things still yet to do is quite long, this was a good reminder of how far we have come!

sunshine in my soul.

This page was inspired by the June mood board challenge at Paper Issues. It was very oceany/travel themed and I saw some splashes of orange with the darker moody blues.

My FREE cut file here is also available at Paper Issues. This background is from the Vicki Boutin Color Study mixed media pad. I accented with some Scrappin Happy Studio epoxy flair + PinkFresh stickers. Thanks for looking!

love love love [Challenge YOUrself 90].

Hi friends! Today I'm back with challenge 90 at Challenge YOUrself. This month, we're using washi tapes.

I've never tried this technique before and I'm really not a huge washi user. I decided to back my cut file with some washi tapes.
My photos weren't the best quality (taken at an indoor wedding) so I made a photo collage out of them. Then I added some Jen Hatfield floral accents. Thanks for looking!
