scook06033 Thank you Max Creek for making the music that has moved me and soothed my soul since I saw my first Creek show in 1981. Today more than ever, the music, friendship and fellowship of the Creek family is a driving force in my daily life, and I couldn’t be more appreciative for that. See you at the next show!

about

For 50 years, Max Creek had never stopped moving. Then came 2020. It was a long 13 months with almost no music. The band charged out of hibernation in June 2021. Their first show back--a weekend or two prior to this--was a bit rusty and cobweb covered. Here, however, we witness a well-oiled machine, up and running again.

Band and audience are both clearly ecstatic in the midst of their newly liberated state, and this Burlington, VT parking lot & field--the ultimate improvised venue of the Covid era--became, for a few hours, the promised land.
