Keyboard shortcuts

Rooms & walls

• Resize a room by dragging a wall or corner. Select a wall-length label to type the exact length.
• Create an L-shape or notch by double-clicking a wall, then dragging the new segment into place. Drag it flush with its neighbor to merge the segments again.
• Align walls with snapping. It matches walls that face the same way without pulling opposite wall faces together.
• Delete carefully. Removing a room also removes its openings and furniture.

Doors & windows

• Move an opening by dragging it along a wall. Drag near another wall to move it there.
• Set its position by selecting the opening, then selecting either distance label and entering a value.
• Keep openings on the wall. The planner automatically shrinks or repositions an opening when its width no longer fits.

Furniture

• Resize an item by dragging an edge or corner handle on the plan.
• Change the stacking order by dragging the grip in the furniture list.
• Align items with snapping. It matches nearby walls and furniture.

Canvas

• Move a room by dragging its center label at 100% zoom or below. Above 100%, the same gesture pans the plan.
• Pan the plan by dragging empty canvas space.

Save & share

• Save automatically. The planner stores every change in this browser and updates the plan link.
• Share the current plan by selecting Share. Anyone who opens the copied link gets that version of the plan.
