"...Despite the Christian imagery and the ten deadly sins on the cover, there’s nothing holy about this work. It’s disgusting, vile, filthy, and putrid — and those are compliments. That’s the exact reaction this musical sadist seems to have aimed for.

Beneath it all lies a faint note of deathbed satire — a mockery of the world’s weakness as it sinks into darkness, or perhaps of the darkness itself that resists it.
