Here is a short story. When I came to the United States for the first time I was really bothered by Trap Music playing from every corner and at every festival. I couldn’t understand why people like it so much. Well, I still don’t fully understand. It is pretty basic, the high hat and snare rolls are obnoxious, and there is very little to zero of musicality. Of course not all of the instrumental Trap is bad and also this is just my own opinion. A few years passed and that groove and tone of the growly, noisy 808 bass are living rent free in my mindex. It influenced my production to the core so I had a long phase of experiments with this sub genre. Basically I took the two main Trap Music elements and added things that I thought was missing. Here I am with a few very chill tunes from my broad unreleased collection of not chill beats. Hope you enjoy!
