plasticwrap I remember this album found me at a particularly strange and low point in life, and I don't remember exactly why I selected it to put on my phone, someone had included it in a must-listen list, I remember that much.
But this is one of those albums I tell people "changed my life" or "saved my life" and I honestly don't feel like that's over-exaggerating. This album, to me, is a place of death, grief, and mourning, but also of rebirth, the joy of rebirth, and the strength to move forward. Divine. Favorite track: doppler radar blessing.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA crushed under an ocean of grief, numb, at the sudden touch of a certain piece of detritus you remember you are somebody. and you cling to that tossed-away object because it recalls the thing you can't let go of, what you can't articulate, but also can't not. It's the proof. "oh my god, this is it." and maybe you're still alone in the ocean, but that euphoria of recognition is profound. <3 Favorite track: bathroom wall shades of blue.
