PROJECT OVERVIEW

 

The owners of this Deerfield home wanted the texture of their wood siding to be evident, but wanted to introduce a bold color. The challenges for this project included:

• the delicate hand-sanding of the siding so as not to damage it but still adequately open up the pores in the wood;
• finding a deep based opaque wood stain;
• keeping sharp lines between the blue and white areas.
