Jean Marc Durante is known for his unique styling techniques attracting a clientele of Miami’s socialites, influencers, and devotees alike. French-born and trained, his vision was to infuse a personal approach to styling using Parisian methods. In France, stylists require a secondary education degree to specialize in cutting or coloring, inspiring his motto for niche styling. Today, Jean Marc focuses on his ownership and ability to curate the crème de la crème of hair artists at Red Market Salon.

Born in Lyon, France, Durante trained with the iconic hairdresser Jacques Dessange in Paris and New York City before creating JMD Salon in Miami, earning him a reputation as Miami’s best hairstylist and the GO-TO stylist for ‘The Lob.’ Jean Marc partnered with colorist Reynald Ricard on Red Market Miami, bringing a little NYC flair to the prestigious Bal Harbour Shops.
