The fox was observed digging, prowling and then, embarrassingly, getting stuck halfway up a fence. Some tinkering on Warble, the chorusing tool I recently shared. Recovering from an elbow injury.

Excursions

I’ve circumnavigated Malta by foot, and written of its history in two essays: Sun Letters and Bajtar Paradise. The islands even found their way into a zine on wormwood.

Last year, I set out from the city of bees and somehow ended up in India. Slowly, slowly, I’m visiting every crossing over the Yarra. I’ve been obsessed with confluences ever since an ill-fated bike trip to 47°N 102°E. Biking also spurred research on the Pamirs and a virtual tour using Street View.

Diversions

My odd little experiments include an ode to Archimedes, a birdsong translator, a choose-your-own poem, a forum for neural networks, concrete animals, novels that decompose or hallucinate, and a couple of esoteric drum machines.
