For catalog no. 6, MiZi MuZiK welcomes veteran producer Schlepp Geist, responsible for numerous club circuit evergreens. With ‘Olunder,' the Leipzig-based producer delivers two delicately morphing and technically dazzling originals with mesmeric tonal nuance and stripped percussive structures, alongside a dark, pulsing rework by LORENA and Az Denar.

‘Locked' unfolds a maniacal orchestra of fluttering percussion, resonating sample chops, and a drum-heavy yet delicate beat. Patterns of hybrid elements—beautifully threading the needle between percussive power and atmosphere—drive the groove forward while subtly unfurling mesmerizing melodic textures. Understated and deeply physical, Locked cycles through morphing arcs of tonal and rhythmic tension, coalescing into a complex roller that feels both incredibly intricate and infectiously simple.

With ‘Olunder,' Schlepp Geist delves into a world of charged opposites. Revolving around a stripped, Dembow-inspired rhythm set to eerily hovering strings and a grating bassline, Olunder unfolds jarring robotic salvos and pitch-shifting sirens that cut across soothing layers of warm, filtered chords—a fragile, melodic beauty that clashes beautifully with the tracks malfunctioning eruptions and transforms its grating soundscapes into a haunting, cinematic dancefloor roller.

Mexican producers LORENA and Az Denar blow out the original's throbbing channels, envelope them in a darkly revolving Indie Dance framework, and strip ‘Locked' to its pulsing core. Their rework reshapes
Schlepp Geist's meticulous soundscapes into a powerful floor-focused weapon: raw, accessible, and propulsive, without losing the original's graceful intricacy.
