A desire to see Psychlona led me to their gig in Bradford in support of The Obsessed. (Bloody marvellous). So...I looked up The Obsessed (and thereafter Saint Vitus too) and I've been having a great time getting into the slow and heavy stuff so reminiscent of early Black Sabbath albums. Gilded Sorrow does the slow and heavy but also "upbeat with weight and grit," songs which sound full of lived experience and conviction. Favourite track: Jailine.
