About the site
Hi, hello!!!Welcome to my little mossy den, please mind the mess! It seems you've stumbled into my humble home I've dug into the internet. I've built this site to be my little spot where I can express myself how I want cause as fun as social media is (LYING), I find it kinda scary, and diffuclt to show things how I want to. Here I can style everything how I want, and It's entierly my own (not some shady company's), and I can yap about and however much I want without (that much) worry, and best of all I CAN BE PROPERLY EMBODY MY GOOFY SELF HERE! As Botany, theatre and sewing are my three big intrests/passions they are the pages with the most content to presue through. Botany page is as in the name mostly about plant science stuff but I will also have topics like flower language, gardening, and some general ecology in there. The sewing page for now is mostly unfinsed but when completed will contain a little guide to sewing, and some techinques along with pattern drafting basics, and just general sewing ideas. Also my closet,,, cause why not. The theatre page is mostly a shrine dedicated to my favorite costumes but I also have all my favorite shows and little extra stuff in there,,,, I am very normal about theatre.
So if your intrested in any of those your probably in the right place, and even if you not feel free to poke around. Prehaps you'll even find something you like! Other notes about this site are that I'm adult that likes to talk about adult stuff sometimes (though theres nothing explict on the site as of right now), and I swear somewhat often. I'm also,,, not incredibly bright,, so might be alot of typos,,,,I'm sorry? Anyways It's really messy here, dogs are not usally known for being tidy and a dog with my harbinger of chaos brain definitly isn't, so if your worried about getting lost have a little peak at the site map below! "Do whatever you want forever"
This site core belief is in doing whatever the fuck you want forever. No matter how 'cringy' or 'strange' it is, if it's harmless and you're mindful, never let anyone stop you from having fun. Literally there are bigger problems on our planet, than god forbid someone being happy enjoying something harmless. In fact, I think all the freaks, weirdos and outcasts of this planet are the glimmers of a better world that we can achieve, but I digress. In a time of increasing pressure to conform, and snuff out any form of non-traditional expression, I want to see more people boldly being themselves in all their strangeness. Deep down we're all a little weird, we've all got quirks and oddities, I think that comes with the package of being the strangest species on earth. So I use this site as device to embrace my strangeness, so maybe that way when someone stumbles onto here they feel; That maybe their oddities aren't so bad at all, there's so many others out there that are just as strange, and the next time their caught in between the decision of being strange or not, they remember there's some weird freak on the internet who'd delight in seeing someone being their weird selves. SO GO HAVE FUN AND BE WEIRD. WHO CARES. DO THE THINGS THAT BRING YOU JOY.
In a similar tangent. If you want to make art. Go make it. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I BEG OF YOU TO USE YOUR OWN TWO HANDS, OR WHATEVER TOOLS (NOT A.I) YOU WANT TO USE TO CREATE. I PROMISE YOU ART IS ALREADY ACCESSIBLE. I would rather see a thousand "bad" drawings made by a person, where I can see the strokes and wonderful human quirks in it, see its development, see its life, than something sharted out via a soulless slop machine. Art is a vessel. It can be used to connect with others, to communicate an idea/or fact, to preserve history and culture, to rally us together. I want to see art and know that another living breathing being on this planet who is experiencing it alongside me is on the other side of it.
Also A.I is killing our planet and people, I promise you drought is not worth avoiding embarrassment. Embarrassment won't kill you.
In summery:
I think more people should have harmless "cringy" or "weird" fun, I could not care less how "odd" it is. Go have fun being weird in this already strange world that thinks uniformity makes more sense in nature than its wonderful chaos. ALSO GO MAKE ART IF YOU WANT! YOU! Yes you! You can make whatever you want! Don't think you can? TRY, and have fun with it! If you fail? COOL! You still made something, you still learned something, you still tried! and hopefully you were having fun. AND REMEMBER! It doesn't have to be perfect, the point of art is not to be perfect. There is no point, the point is why you want to do it :) GO OUT THEIR BE A WEIRDO AND MAKE SOME ART!
