@pursuinghappy A major factor for brain damage after lack of oxygen is brain swelling. Once a cell runs out of oxygen runs out, the cell will use its supply of glucose, which isn't as energy efficient and makes toxic byproducts. Once this runs out, the mechanisms of the cells that regulate their ability to maintain homeostasis stop working, letting them swell. That kills them pretty quickly. That's why it's hard to know with suffocation when brain damage happens. It's more gradual

@Atrocite I heard somewhere that one the girls sued due to receiving brain damage from one of these videos. I never found any other evidence if this was true or not. But none of Cocosofts newer videos were as extreme as their earlier stuff so there might be some truth to it.

(part 4) it is true that it is very hard to find clear scientific information about how long the brain can exactly go without oxygen before irreversible damage happens. There seems to be some accepted range of 3 - 6 minutes until it starts to happen. So, when do we start counting the time? I guess from the moment that the brain is completely deprived of oxygen. When does that moment happen? That's hard to say, but passing out is a clear indication that brain oxygen is nearing zero.

(part 3) I guess they know something about the limits of the human body that we don't. They push the girls so incredibly far, beyond what we would think is possible. And yet they all seem to recover. @Hang_4_me_now I have seen the complete official video without cuts and it still doesn't show her waking up, and doesn't even see her take any instinctive gasps for air, her body is so shut down it isn't even trying to breathe anymore. This is the only cocoaosoft video where the girl looks completely dead, in the others at least they started gasping for air even if it took them a long time to become conscious again. It is quite disturbing, but I agree that she must be fine (part 1)

@Atrocite Im afraid you are right. In all other videos the girls breathing reflexes kicked in as soon as they slapped them in the face, but here you can see she is not breathing at all, her body doesnt react to the slaps. @nector65 agree. this was the last video of the series. and only in this video you can't see her waking up. in all other videos of them you see the "victim" breathing at the end. maybe this time they went too far and she got real braindamage. she was in there for about 5 minutes
