after all what happened, i do think god still loves me. :) brilliant work.

It took me an embarrassingly long amount of time to realize the actual fishing mechanic, lol. I didn't realize that I was supposed to hold LMB -- I thought it was one of those fishing mechanics where you had to rapidly click to fish, and when that didn't work, I tried using keyboard buttons like space and enter. 😅

The tackle box was an interesting mechanic. I liked that you could combine the baits you got into new ones (although, I was expecting the actual sprite of the tackle box to be interactable and not through the hook icon on the top right).

As Hexx mentioned, this is very much an "idle" game. If you're someone who's a bit impatient like me, this may not be the game for you. From my experience, the only things that seemed "quick" to catch were the letters.

So heads up to anyone who are going to play, you might not actually play a lot. The game says it's an idle game and it takes that "idle" part very seriously. Once you cast your fishing line, you might have to actually leave it idle right there and then without any interaction. No progress bar to see how long you wait, no mini-game to quicken or pass the time while waiting for something to bite, you literally wait without clicking the game even once until you caught something.

I don't think this game works for anyone here that expect a quick mystery solving game. If you do like really slow burn mystery solving game then this seems like a good game, unfortunately I'm not one of those player so I stopped playing after I got the "chum in the shallows gets you crabs" hint.
