I saw you there
Checked shirt hanging out
The lights were low
I knew I should be leaving now
You caught my eye
I caught your interest
You walked on by
I followed you
The rest of the way
Oh, down the rabbit hole
You only like it when you're in control
I can't see another way through
I feel most on my own
When I'm with you
Your kindness left
I'm not sure it was even real
You never told me
How much you could never feel
I don't exist to raise you your entire life
I've got my own
And I won't follow you
The rest of the way
Oh, down the rabbit hole
You only like it when you're in control
I finally see another way through
I feel most myself
When I'm not with you
I won't be led down another rabbit hole
You don't like it now I've taken back control
I finally see another way through
I feel most myself
When I'm not with you
And I will ride myself
(Get off your high horse)
Into my own sunset
(I should be leaving now)
And I will ride myself
(Get off your high horse)
Into my own sunset
(I should be leaving now)
And I will ride myself
(Get off your high horse)
Into my own sunset
(I should be leaving now)
And I will ride myself
(Get off your high horse)
Into my own sunset
Living in Australia pretty much rules me out of ever attending this festival so my annual purchase of this compilation is surely the next best thing. And I'm pleased to relate that it's up to it's usual high standard. Gavin Hellyer
Although I do agree I'd prefer more focus on the IRS era, this is a really solid collection of covers that delivers some unique takes. Totally inspired me to go back and listen to the original albums as well. Jean-Paul DuQuette
A nostalgic record full of ambling rhythms, vivid imagery, and cotton-soft melodies tapped out on an ever-present ’70s synth-organ hybrid. Bandcamp Album of the Day Nov 11, 2021
