List of Contributors Wolfgang Drechsler is Professor of Governance at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, Ragnar Nurkse Institute of Innovation and Governance; Honorary Professor of University College London, Institute of Innovation and Public Purpose; and Associate and Member of the Advisory Board at Harvard University, Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies. wdrechsler@fas.harvard.edu Stephen Kalberg is Professor of Sociology at Boston University. His Understanding Civilizations. A Weberian Guide is forthcoming (Routledge ) in 2020. Po-Fang Tsai is Associate Professor of the Graduate Institute of Humanities in Medicine (GIHM), Taipei Medical University, Taipei, Taiwan (R.O.C.). His main area of interest concerns legal and cultural sociology, medical education and medical humanities, and Max Weber studies. Having articles appeared in Max Weber Studies, Journal of Sociology, and Taiwan Journal of East Asian Studies, since 2010 he has focused on Weber’s concept of traditional Chinese law and the reception history of Max Weber in the Chinese context. In recent years, his research started from a Weberian viewpoint to analyze the evolution of citizenship in the Chinese context during the late Qing dynasty and the early Republican period. Eduardo Weisz is Professor at the Sociology Department of the Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he is in charge of a subject and research group centered on Max Weber. He has published and edited several books on different aspects of Weber’s legacy, including Viejos dioses, nuevos dioses. Política y religión a partir de Max Weber (edited with P. Lambruschini and J.I. Trovero, 2019), Max Weber en Iberoamérica (edited with Á. Morcillo, 2016) and Racionalidad y tragedia (2011). He is also author of a number of articles and chapters of books on Weber. ...
