TROLLKVINNEN Music for Goblins! 3 tracks in... purchased the cassette. This is really unique, I love the use of the pounding drums layered with the flutes and horns. Perfect murky Dungeon Synth. This little Goblin is really happy to have found this gem! 🖤🖤🖤 Favorite track: Goblin Town in the Fog.

Dave Aftandilian It’s not often I hear dungeon synth that sounds utterly unique, but this does. Great mix of deep, trance-inducing drums as your booted feet echo in the damp dungeon corridors and your heart pounds with fear and anticipation, set against creepy, clear chimes of bell-like synths shining like the tiny crystals embedded in the dungeon walls. But why won’t your torch penetrate the thick shadows ahead, and why does it feel like the walls are getting closer on every side…?

Damien Mac Searraigh Done by the fella behind "tales under the oak", and definitely just as good, sometimes even better to me. Brilliant albums all three, extremely good at night. Favorite track: Deep in the Castle Ruins.

hallowedhalls A delightful story-driven album about a curious and somewhat mischievous gobbo. Some nice layering of instruments (particularly drums, bells, and flutes) and the production is great too. Favorite track: Chest Full of What?.

Anemoia Perfect, from 1 to 9. No Filler.
If Albums such as "The Toad King" by TalesundertheOak or "Grayshadow Ruins" by Mountainrealm are your cup of tea, then you'll feel right at home with this one. Eery, dreamy Dungeon Crawling Synth. Favorite track: A Letter in the Tavern.

about

Gruba had absolutely no talents, which was a rare thing even for the goblin kin. He was afraid of becoming a warrior, too lazy to become a good hunter, and too stubborn for a trader.
However, there was one thing that for some inexplicable reason followed him everywhere he stepped. It was Luck - the biggest desire of every treasure hunter.

Gruba's town was located in the depths of lush forest lands. The splendor of the surrounding Rukh mountains was frequently obscured by thick evening fog.
Local goblins celebrated the end of a hard day as the town was lit with dancing flames of the street fires. Blunt jokes and laughter filled the local taverns well known for their strong goblin drinks and high chances of getting murdered in a brawl.

Gruba, who by the habit avoided company, sit silently in the corner of the East Gate tavern and slowly sipped his awful brown coloured drink. He was observing a company of loud mercenary goblins who had a quarrel over the best type of wood for a hunting spear.
The long armed goblin jumped from his stool in rage and started shouting at his opponent across the table, when Gruba noticed a folded yellow piece of paper falling out of the goblin’s pocket.
Without hesitation Gruba picked a fork, headed towards the keeper and dropped it, passing by the loud company. Bending and quickly hiding the piece of paper in the sleeve, he picked up the fork and mumbled something about his own clumsiness. After that he tossed a bronze coin with cogged edges to the keeper and left the tavern unnoticed.

It was already midnight and the goblin street celebration reached its peak with wild dancing and shouting around the fire. Low hanging fog turned the scenery into a wild dream.
Gruba sniffed the fresh night air and turned around the corner, avoiding eye contact with the guards who were distracted by the sudden goblin fight with bare hands and short clubs.
The clouds gave way to the bright moon and offered a great opportunity to take a look at the stolen paper.
“Now this is interesting”, whistled Gruba, discovering a primitive oil-stained map with marked ruins to the south of the town. A short note was attached to the map, saying: “Bring the chest. LOCKED! Rest is yours. Payment upon delivery.”

“This goblin-goat is not brighter than the brutes he hired. They would have cut his throat and run away with the chest straight after the payment”, thought Gruba and smiled, showing his edgy yellow teeth, as it was him who was destined to find and unlock that mysterious chest. What was inside though?

Gruba knew that he was too excited to sleep that night, so he quickly packed some dried meat and water and rushed past the eastern gate, leaving the ever loud goblin town behind the smoky canvas under the shimmering stars.
