mourner As usual, YomaBarr is right. This is a great and accomplished album full of fierce darkness. Plus great and very distinct vocals. Many bands will never reach this level. I can only hope Sepulchral Rift will be able to continue their path. I particularly hope their sound will not become more cavernous as I fear that will mess up their great songs. Favorite track: Wraiths of Blight.

YomaBarr In fact, I can't praise this band enough. How to emerge from the abyss fully shaped, and how, brutal and evil!
So far, my classic example of how to write 16' long songs in (black)death metal has been Burial Hordes' From Synthesis... This here Vortex... can come close.
