About O'Kenneth
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. There was always music in our home. My mum loved gospel, my dad loved hiplife. Weekends, “Fakye” by Mark Anim would play while she cooked. That song brings back memories—of family, love, and the moment music became part of who I am. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city Lil Uzi Vert, Eternal Atake Trippie Redd, ! Kendrick Lamar – good kid, m.A.A.d city A masterpiece. The storytelling, the rawness, the themes of youth and survival in Compton—it’s just timeless. Kendrick’s transition from a teenager to an artist really resonated with me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ain't Shid (feat. Kelvin S, Skyface & Jay Bahd)” It felt raw, different, even foreign in a way. It didn’t sound like anything I’d done before. That track marked a new level of expression for me and connected with people in a real way. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting my first spotlight moment and receiving my first royalty check. That was a turning point—it made everything feel real and showed me that the grind was starting to pay off. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely! I want to pack out stadiums in different regions and sell millions of records globally. There’s so much more to accomplish.
