White spotted thoroughbreds

Pure dominant whites are born with pink skin and brown eyes. The white hairs result from an absence of melanocytes in depigmented skin areas. They may have few darker spots on their bodies. "Sabino-like" dominant whites are a mix of their base color and white. Although no thoroughbred has ever been tested positive for the Sabino gene, we call it here "Sabino-like" to distinguish between pure white horses and the ones with more noticeable visibility of the base color.
