I love the low shelf all along the wall. This is what I'm going for in our boys room, but we have a long low bookshelf. I think the cube shelf would be better - it's hard for them to keep the books on that long shelf organized, and we can't store any toys on there with the books or it just becomes a mess. I think this is what we have to do.
