Beware of "fast-fashion" mentality - think quality and longevity | Natural, organic, renewable materials are best: cotton, hemp, linen, alpaca, non-mulesed wool | Second-hand or vintage pieces are good as well | Avoid synthetics or at least get recycled (try not to machine wash them much - creates microplastic pollution in water) | Try to find non-toxic or waterless dyes | Blended materials are hard to recycle later, but can still be donated | Do the best you can without guilt
