So it was my first attempt at doing up an old boring lampshade and I’m actually pretty pleased with how it turned out! Started with a white lampshade from Goodwill, painted it red, hot glued the lace, gimp rope, and fringe along the bottom. Then I went ahead and painted the whole base black. I painted the inside of the lampshade so it’d give off a nice warm red light in the living room. Bought everything but the beads at Hobby Lobby for cheap. Had so much fun with my daughter making this!🖤
