Located down a wooded and peaceful country lane, Mr & Mrs Willis's thatched cottage that they have owned since 2017 is situated. Mr & Mrs Willis have been gradually making changes and improvements since. Previously they had square bar frames at the back of the house, and leaded frames at the front. "We weren’t the biggest fans of lead, it wasn’t our style and it felt a bit dated. So we were keen to change this up." Mr & Mrs Willis went for a completely different style at the front, adopting arched, gothic style bars, with traditional square bars to the rear. "We thought the arched bars all the way around the house might have been a bit too much. We absolutely love the style, we can't believe how much more light comes into the house compared to before."
