Step 3. paper macheing over the cardboard. Paper mache recipe: Make a base of cardboard & hot glue tinfoil to build up any places that need it (here it was the eye sockets) & then do a quick cover layer of mache. I use blue shop towels (from auto parts), & concentrated sta-flo liquid starch. Then I come back after its dry & do a detail layer to smooth it all out & add features like the lips & nostrils. If it needs to be smoother I layer on with tissue paper.

Step 2. thin cereal box cardboard cut to shape, taped and hot glued together onto the base in step 1.
