Product Details

Evoking the fabulous foliage of the forest, the rhythmic leaf lace pattern of this scarf is polished off with a simple, yet elegant, knotted fringe that takes this light-weight scarf from basic to romantic. While this lovely sample was done on a subtle colorway that had highs and low shades, this pattern will be stunning on speckled, light variegated colors, and as always a tonal is simply classic. We can't wait to see what you use to make this lovely pattern!  Yarn Needed: “Queen of Hearts” fingering weight, 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon: 420 yds/4 oz skein , shown in the limited edition colorway “Sherwood Forest” OR Wonderland Yarns “Mary Ann” fingering weight, 85% superwash merino, 15% nylon:  475 yds/4 oz skein Needles & Notions: US size 6/4.0mm needle, or size needed to get gauge, darning needle, tools for blocking (optional: stitch markers to keep track of repeats, would need to be moved on rows 1, 3, 5, 7), crochet hook for adding fringe Gauge: 22 sts & 26 rows = 4"/10 cm in leaf lace pattern, after blocking Measurements: 8.5"/21.5cm wide, 63"/160cm long (not including fringe), blocked
