I'm not feelin so low
Even if my dough low
Real life in slow mo
We gon make it I know so
x4
Oh la la la...
Like oh la la
You a shooting star
Ain't got no doubts
We going far
Tell me what's the move
Take a cruise
Feeling you and that's a vibe
This a mood
Come on through
And we gon slide
I'm not feelin so low
Even if my dough low
Real life in slow mo
We gon make it I know so
x4

First of all, this record represents part of Dave's major arcana; I consider this one of his major releases. I feel like this is a listening record – the music is timeless and gets more interesting the more I hear it. This is one of my favorites. The vinyl release is simply jaw-dropping. It's made with the new vinyl formulation that has much less surface noise than records of the past. Its perfectly mastered. I'm upgrading my whole system just to be able to properly play it. A warped forest journey—Everglade March opens with trap and panning bass like a lightsaber slicing Aphex Twin samples into distant memories. Harvest floats between rain, rap echoes, and woozy drops. Old Growth and Durin’s Tower explore found textures and transforming bass. Complex, spacey, nostalgic—trap reimagined through filtered dreams and forest ghosts. noizyme
Beautifully brain-breaking deconstructed club music on the latest from s8jfou, drums exploding like fireworks beneath zig-zagging synths. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 1, 2025
