Synopsis

In this world, there are creatures that will do anything, no matter how violent, in order to fulfill their desires. They possess extraordinary powers and the people came to call them Yokuoni. To protect the people against the Yokuoni, Masato Jitsunashi has taken up the job to hunt them. Although he's a Yokuoni himself, he bears the Justice Greed—the desire to seek justice and sentence them by his own hands.

I was finally able to read it after so many years.
The art is incredible, the pacing is quite good, and the story is captivating. It left me thinking about it and wanting to keep reading.
It's very reminiscent of Tokyo Ghoul, from the power system, the aesthetics, and the direction the plot takes.
It's not short as such (it's 9 volumes after all), but the political/conspiracy plot is very ambitious (in a good way), so the final resolution is a bit rushed. By this, I mean that in just a few chapters, there's plot twist after plot twist, and it even delves into new concepts.
