Good morning everyone! 

I have a quick post today to share a fun St. Patrick's Day card...

This cute Leprechaun is a pre-colored image from my PrintMaster program- it printed out very light so I darkened it with Copic markers :) The sentiment is computer generated and the papers are from The Paper Studio. I used My Favorite Things dies for the stitched circle, fishtail flag and four-leaf clover, the stitched rounded rectangle is from Pink & Main.

Good morning everyone! 

Today I have a March Art Journal/Calendar page to share with you! 

While browsing images on my PrintMaster program I came across this adorable Leprechaun! It's a pre-colored image and when I printed it out it was very light, so I darkened it up with Copic markers- I wanted to make sure he 'pops' off the page! :)

I used several new items to create the background: Lindy's Magicals- Pineapple Paradise & Luscious lime, Sizzix Alphabet dies, Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel and a Prima Marketing stamp for the vines. The quote/sentiment is computer generated, I used a couple of small rubber stamps along with several stencils and Oxide Inks colors.

And here's a close up of the Leprechaun... what a cutie!

top o' the mornin' to ya

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at Creatalicious and this time we want to see your St. Patrick's Day cards or use Green...

For my card I used a fun coloring page image that I found while surfing the web...
this handsome chap is colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. The papers are from Die Cut with a View and The Paper Studio. I used a MFT die for the four-leaf clover, rounded one of the corners and distressed all of the edges and there you have it... a very bright lime green St. Patrick's day card! :)

String Bean Leprechauns

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today I have a couple of St. Patrick's Day cards to share with you... These little cuties are part of the String Bean Leprechauns bundle from Melondeadz 

that I won!! :)

They are colored with Copics and on this card I printed the image twice so I could pop up the hat, shamrock and shoes with foam tape for more dimension. 

On this card I decided to go with a mint green & gold color combo and I added some distressing- I wanted it to be completely different from my first card...  

AND I merged two images together- just enough so the leprechauns would be
holding hands!

  I've noticed several St. Patrick's Day/Green challenges going on so I thought I would play along! Plus... I love to work with the color green! :) 

This adorable Circle Sentiment image is from Bugaboo Stamps and It's colored with Copics.  The bg is embossed with the CB Argyle folder, I used a QuicKutz die for the corners and the dp is from The Paper Studio.  Added some hand dyed seam binding, a shamrock button and there you have it... a super easy St. Patrick's day card!!

Shamrock Turtle

Hello everyone!! Just a quick post today showing you the St. Patty's day card that I made for my wonderful In-Laws!  

This sweet little good luck turtle is from Bugaboo stamps and it's colored with Copics.  The clouds are cut with an MFT die and all the embossing is done with the CB Tiny Bubbles folder. I used a Whimsy Stamps ticket, Hero Arts sentiment and both papers are from my stash.

Lucky Leprechaun

Happy Friday everyone! It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is...C for Celebrate St. Patrick's day or Good Luck!

My card features a b&w image from my PrintMaster Platinum software.  I always forget to take a look at all of the images this DVD offers... so when I found this little fella I was so happy! He's kinda cute and kinda scary! LOL! :)  I've colored him with Copics, the sentiment is from Hero Arts and the dp is from TPC Studio.  The gems and clover buttons are from my stash.

Custom Button...

Good morning all! It's tutorial Wednesday at Bugaboo!! Every Wednesday one of the DT members create a tutorial and this week it's my turn! I love buttons...they are my favorite embellishment to add to projects!! So today I have decided to show you how to create a Custom Button...like on this fun St. Patty's day card!

Supplies needed: clear buttons, designer paper, Glossy accents, scissors, paper piercer and a nail file.
 
Steps: apply a small amount of Glossy accents to a clear button, lay the button on the dp and move it around a bit to make sure the button is completely covered with Glossy accents. If the paper starts to curl-weigh down the button with something...like a small acrylic block let the button dry completely.
Paper pierce through each of the button holes and cut the paper around the button as close as possible...and if you want the button to be extra smooth sand the edges down with a file

Now the button is ready to add to your project!
