Catchup!

April 9th

Finally uploaded photos from my underwater camera - only possible at home. Ohhh and on that tiny screen in the sun, I missed setting the month to 2 for February! Gotta fix that!

As you can see the waves were cresting higher than me in the water.

Yeppers glad I stayed near the beach.

Broken bits of seaweed.

Some of my swimming friends.

I love this image!

I updated my FB profile in support of our Winnipeg Jets hockey team IN for the payoffs!

April 10th

Our Winnipeg Jets are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs! YEAH!!!   GO JETS GO!!!   I even picked up a long sleeved White Out tshirt for tonight!

Now here's my new #52blocks52weeks #13 and yes this is an easier way to sew this block but I dislike making two the same this way.  Then because I loved someone else's beaver block I just had to try it too.  So I used my corner ruler and fussy cut the four pieces and sewed them up.  Not quite the effect I hoped for but it will have to do.   Now to decide which will be in the quilt, or both!

All 13 blocks (2 #13s) together.
Next grouping will be when another row is complete.

Had my aquasize workout then home to catchup on my Jets game in my white out tee and a glass of my smooth amber Cuban rum to toast a hopeful win!

Not so this game!  Game #1 lost, Jets will get their MoJos in order for next game!

An Energy Packed Day!

I'm feeling drained but exhilarated at the same time but know I also over did it today! ☹ First off I walked to Portage Place for a bit of shopping and back home for lunch before picking up Edna and our walk at the Outlet Mall. Needless to say my hip and ankle were bugging me again so only 4.4 km today. But then we walked around Costco, Staples, Giant Tiger and last Michaels before heading home! Nope that wasn't the end!!! Next I packed up and headed to PanAm Pool to meet Pat for an aquacize class! It must be 5-8 years since the last sessions, so needless to say I took it easy on myself and did about half of the repetitions others did! Yep totally drained and now aching all over! 😂 AND into an Epsom salts bath before a rub down and relaxation! 😊

First Day of Spring Couldn't Have Been Better!!!!

What a beautiful day for a walk! And soon off to Thermea for a girls relaxing day/evening!

We were checking out a grey bird way up there when I decided to take a picture - camera was still in selfie mode so I took it  - LOL!!!

That's Edna swinging her water bottle just in time!

We went about halfway along #7 till water forced us to turn around, so we did a little detour south on Moray to Ness and back home.

Or 9,434 steps.

Then early afternoon I headed to Thermea Spa for the rest of the day!  OMGG - I don't know if I can explain the pleasureable day I've had here!  Thank you Janice for organizing it and Cindy for making it too!  It was unbelievable from the ice cold water dips, the temperate and then hot tub pools to the various saunas that Janice guided me through to the heated beds relaxation rooms to the awesome no roof fireplace building with Adirondack chairs and blankets (here's where I first enjoyed a glass of wine and later relaxation tea) to the lounge where we enjoyed some food/wine and shared a fruit plate!  Yeppers it was AWESOME!!!!!  Especially when that huge MOON showed itself above the buildings!  I wanted to stay longer but after 7 hours I was drained and my legs barely carried me to the car!  YEAH what an awesome day from start to end!

Now finishing off watching hockey, Winnipeg Jets playing the Anaheim Ducks!  Hope I can stay awake to the end!

CUBA - Day 9 - Swimming with the Dolphins

OMGG this was just incredible and am I ever glad I gave my camera to the trainer to take pictures for me. After a few the big guy took mine and he took awesome pictures and a video too! I also got a professional one taken but my baby did just as good! I hated it to end but also glad as I was drained!

She was so silky soft.

She loved the scratchy massages.

Even the face splashes were fun too.
