Catchup!

April 9th

Finally uploaded photos from my underwater camera - only possible at home. Ohhh and on that tiny screen in the sun, I missed setting the month to 2 for February! Gotta fix that!

As you can see the waves were cresting higher than me in the water.

Yeppers glad I stayed near the beach.

Broken bits of seaweed.

Some of my swimming friends.

I love this image!

I updated my FB profile in support of our Winnipeg Jets hockey team IN for the payoffs!

April 10th

Our Winnipeg Jets are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs! YEAH!!!   GO JETS GO!!!   I even picked up a long sleeved White Out tshirt for tonight!

Now here's my new #52blocks52weeks #13 and yes this is an easier way to sew this block but I dislike making two the same this way.  Then because I loved someone else's beaver block I just had to try it too.  So I used my corner ruler and fussy cut the four pieces and sewed them up.  Not quite the effect I hoped for but it will have to do.   Now to decide which will be in the quilt, or both!

All 13 blocks (2 #13s) together.
Next grouping will be when another row is complete.

Had my aquasize workout then home to catchup on my Jets game in my white out tee and a glass of my smooth amber Cuban rum to toast a hopeful win!

Not so this game!  Game #1 lost, Jets will get their MoJos in order for next game!

Catch Up!

Damn these mosquito bites! Yes Cuba has mosquitoes but like half the size of our monsters but every evening they attempted to get me - especially if I forgot my spray.  And yes they fogged there quite often! My tiny red dots have enlarged to itchy red blotches and my Anti-Itch cream needs Benadryl to the rescue or I'll go crazy! Dang it!  Well after five days of agony/miserable I think its fonally subsided!  SHEESH!

I've finally completed the beading on the dragonfly and both are ready for mailing today to my Fringe Tatter exchange recipient. I had fun enlarging Riet's Dragonfly pattern to my liking and tackled a new one with rings on split rings in Jane Eborall's Fringe Element Heart pattern. I like these exchanges as there is a specific element you incorporate which has me searching for such patterns and sometimes learning new techniques! AND I love to open my envelope to see what someone has chosen to make for me! A win-win project! Also maybe meeting some of these tatters at the retreat in Cambridge in September!

OK I've finally unpacked and doing laundry! Got my dolphins picture into its special frame too!

CUBA - Last Day - Beach

WOW what can I say! It was a perfect last day on the beach!

The barely used beach restaurant, maybe because of the encrouching inquisitive pinching crabs?

CUBA - Day 9 - Dolphins Show and Young Ones

Now a show to enjoy the dolphins abilities and antics. My fun here is coming to an end!

I just LOVED this!

So fast!

Mama and baby.

These are the 2 and 3 year olds born here.
Still playing with no training yet.
