After seeing UADA live at the 2024 Baden in Blut metal festival, I needed to complete the full discog and add this to my BC collection. The guitar work in UADA is absolutely fantastic, and the last two albums break a bit the ties to the old wave of Swedish BM, still melodic, but a unique UADA trademark now.

Perfect entry-level trad heavy metal. This genre never clicked with me no matter who I listened to. Iron Maiden, Atlantean Kodex, you name it. I had just begun warming to Khemmis, and this might have just made me a fan. If you're like me and most traditional heavy metal does nothing for you, listen to this. You won't regret it. This is the first progressive metal album I've loved in quite some time. Phenomenal songwriting, instrumental virtuosity, and stellar vocal performances make this one of the most unique and strongest releases of 2020.

I am aboard the Wayfarer train and happy to be here!!! A fierce and smoldering record. Smoky, soot-stained, and violent, as many others have observed. I grew a Van Dyke, a full-body black denim suit with blood-red garnet buttons, and a brand new Stetson right out of my head just listening to the opening songs. It really feels like Wayfarer have hit a stride, one which follows its nose for good blends of music. Happy to have seen ya at FITM, in DC w/ Sonja, and now very excited to see you again!
