about
Nervous Records has prided itself throughout its 32 year history in representing the complete spectrum of the sounds of nightlife. When techno first grabbed hold in New York in 1993 Nervous launched the Sorted sub-division and had immediate impact with seminal releases like Winx “Don’t Laugh” and Paul Van Dyk’s remix of Joe T. Vannelli ‘s “Play With The Voice.”
With techno once again experiencing a resurgence in popularity in the USA’s nightlife mecca’s, the time is right for a re-launch. First up is Berlin’s Dahveed with a 150 bpm heavy hittin’ musical rocket, and future releases come from Human Safari, Jerb, Thelma and Tonni 3000.
As one of the longest standing independent record labels in the US, Nervous Records has built its reputation through a willingness to take chances on new sounds and new producers.
