In the Lead: Best Startup Businesses is a special section (and online product) recognizing businesses that were launched in the past five years but are already demonstrating great promise and the qualities that lead to lasting success.
To be named one of the Best Startup Businesses, a business must have at least four employees, been established within the past five years and be based in New Jersey.
Other criteria:
- – Has been in business for at least a year
- – Can demonstrate success in the local business community through growth in revenue or employees.
- – Recognized as a best workplace because of employee support programs.
- – Can show a high level of employee morale.
- – Can demonstrate strong and consistent community engagement.
