Kerosene is different in RV's catalogue of albums. (Not mentioning the 'other one' here either.) It feels somewhat experimental, but not incomplete. Mostly, the acoustic sound leads it away from the indie rock vibe of the band. I have spent plenty of time with this one. I certainly continue to feel several instances in my own life that a song or a lyric was an experience of deja vu; alluding to loss or depressive thoughts, a breaking down of someone internally, mentally.
