Cardian Matsu While it’s one of the more deep cut picks from her catalogue, luxury elite’s “noir” is a fine addition to her collection of albums not only because of the consistently good selection of sample cuts, but because of the variety. There’s a lot of nice, short, exploratory tracks on this one firing, one after another.

There’s a lot more emphasis on the action with this one, more striking uses of those easy listening chops that really make you feel like things are flying by. Favorite track: evil.

DaysGoneBy The city lights fade in and out and the fog glides through the traffic filled street like a spectre. Something is amiss, however. Favorite track: empire.
