Memphis - You Supply the Roses

Alan Horne's Swamplands label was a short lived venture, picking up from where his Postcard Records had left off, with good quality Scottish pop. The key releases were the first two WIN singles, a superb rendition of Pale Blue Eyes by Paul Quinn & Edwyn Collins, and this from Memphis.
James Kirk formed Memphis when he left Orange Juice and this truly wonderful slice of jolly country-tinged, love sick pop promised so much. Sadly, it was not to be, Swamplands was swallowed up by a major and only WIN continued releasing product with only minor commercial success.
Tracklisting:
1. You Supply The Roses
2. Apres Ski
