Furniture came and went so quickly for many as they were a victim of the failure of Stiff Records in 1986. This single peaked at No.21 and stands up so well today.
Subsequent releases on Arista never reached the heights of this song and with the band's back catelogue contractually tied up in the Stiff collapse, they never had the chance to capitalise on their best work.
