dose is a hero among men. been lucky enough to be listening to him since almost the very beginning — a true artist, from jump. but this record is some serious rebirth energy. floored. it’s almost like he’s added Tom Waits to his inner circle of performance personae — the shifts of voice and delivery have always been fireworks but have never felt so connected to topic, theme, narrative as they do here. it’s completely revelatory. and the beats are *perfect*.
